sueyh Posted January 29, 2007 Share Posted January 29, 2007 We are off on holiday to spain with the dogs. Does anyone know if it is advisable to treat the dogs for worms etc to go to Spain. Apparently the problem is that the little hairs on their bodies are highly allergenic (for pets AND people). The problem is that the dogs are more likely to get a bigger dose. Cerise Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 If you normally use Frontline on the dogs may be good to change over to Advantix for your visit to Spain. this from my vet who says there have been cases of leichmaniosis - spelling - (from mosquitoes) in Southern France and Spain.
