cooperlola
I don't quite know where to put this, so landed on the Education board on the assumption that younger posters read it more! A friend of ours asked me today if we knew of any English family here in France who would be prepared to have his 14 year old son spend a week with them during the half term coming up in a few weeks. He is concerned that the lad isn't as good at speaking English as he should be (the father himself is pretty fluent) and would like him to be totally immersed in English family life. I explained that I didn't personally have any friends here with kids and that it was very short notice, but I did say I would ask you good forum folk. He is prepared to travel almost anywhere in France and will help out financially if necessary. Any ideas anybody?

cooperlola
Too late, Fil, but thanks. In fact, now that I have encountered this b*** a little more, I don't think I'd want to inflict him on anybody I know.[:-))]
