journey websites

Hi folks

Does anybody know of a good French website which gives journey times, and especially maps .... just like www.theaa.com does in the UK.  That website gives directions, but no maps for non-UK travel ... and it's the maps I find particularly useful.

I've always used www.viamichelin.com - they also tell you how much your journey will cost with tolls, gas, etc.  Hope this helps.  Jen

I also find Michelin excellent.  For someone with nil sense of direction, I always do find my way with Michelin.  In the UK, I find they don't always give the best route.  But, for France, I think they are unsurpassed.

    I find http://maps.google.com/ is very good too - it's the only mapping system I've tried that will find our out of the way hamlet.  If you want you can even have the directions in French - useful if you post a link on a website for French visitors to find you.
