I did my motorbike test in france but as I had a full driving licence that was less then 5 yrs old I didn't need to do the code de la route.

However I did buy a CD pack (20euro) in french.

It contains visual exams like the test itself and you choose a,b,c,d.

With practice even in french you will remember the answers. Thats all you can do really unless you download the new google toolbar with the transulate option and go to a web page like below.

You can get a pictorial-type code de la route in most bookshops. I got the Michelin 2006 version a couple of years ago, just to familiarise myself with the rules here; it was 15,90€ and it's laid out in a format aimed at learner drivers with plenty of photos and diagrams; easy to digest! It isn't the full Code though, and in fact in this earlier thread http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/829805/ShowPost.aspx Sunday Driver gives the link to the full version... I don't know how he finds all this stuff!

My point about the Michelin book (and there are other versions) is that you don't need a terrific knowledge of French to be able to work through it.

Bon route!
