Tips to find a unique property please

Can anyone suggest any tips on how I can find a property for sale in France that either has an airfield within its grounds or is near to an airfield that is available for private aviation (within 10 mins, preferably less). I'm not talking about the numerous multi-million pound Chateaus, but something more modest.

Many of the standard property search websites that I have found do not allow you to enter keywords, but restrict the search to no. of rooms & price range etc.

In the UK, numerous farms have landing strips in their fields and I would think that the same must exist in France ?

Also in the UK there are many disused WWII airfields that are now privately owned - is this the case in France ?

Any help would be appreciated

Don't know if this is the kind of thing you are looking for, but in the Vendee there are two "air parks":  Vendee Air Park, http://www.aerotourisme.info/Vendee-Air-Park,70.html  to the NE of Talmont St Hilaire (nr Les Sables d'Olonne), and a new one - Atlantic Air Park - near Luçon ( www.atlantic-airpark.com )  though I have to say that I couldn't get that link to work.  Here's another http://www.aerotourisme.info/Vendee-Air-Park.html

In the Pas de Calais, there is the still-embryonic Delahaye Air Park  http://www.aero-delahaye.com/sources-uk/site9.html at Verchocq, N of Hesdin.  I happened to pass it recently, and see that they have just one wooden house built on the site to show the style.

we are in yviers near chalais in dept 16 but on the boarder of 24 ,17,plenty of housing and building land about and a nice small air field on the outskirts of the village for private aircraft only,must be the same set up else were ,wish you happy hunting brian

We live between Toulouse and the Pyrenees - there are a fair number of little airfields here, but also I know of a few properties that have their own, some of which have been advertised on the blue homes website which may allow you to type it in as a key word.
