Gunner Posted February 13, 2006 Share Posted February 13, 2006 Not sure if this is a stupid question or not but someone has told me that you don't need to have heat resistant glass in our 7kw woodburner, as it is 634 euros per sq metre at our local Bricomarche I thought it was worth asking. At the price quoted it may be worth a trip round a few local dealers also assuming glass is say 40cms by 25 cms the price moves down to reasonable assuming the quinquilery charge by area. Craig Posted February 13, 2006 Share Posted February 13, 2006 Where are you gunner, my wife smashed ours a few weeks ago whilst I was at work in the UK and she got a new pice of glass cut while she waited somewhere in Limoges. I can ask where it was if it is close enough to you. It was expensive I thought at 130 euros but not as expensive as you were quoted.
