Try asking at any campsites in your area (there must be loads) although the best time for this source is usually Autumn.

Unfortunately the English camping companies (Eurocamp etc) have normally got rid of last years older ones.

You need to talk to your townhall before you site it.As there are rules about them.

There is a static caravan for sale in a former car sales yard just outside of Cognac, the price I can see on the window is about 2000 euro, I can check the price if you want, it is on the N141 the road from Cognac to Niort.
