Underfloor Heating & Geothermie

Hello All

We have a house in Montpezat D'Agenais , Lot-et-Garronne which has underfloor heating and cooling via a Geothermie

Sadly the boiler is not working and despite our best attempts we have had no joy in getting it repaired - probably due to the fact that the engineers we have had don't appear to understand it! We are quite rural and the people we have had around are local to us and not really experienced in geothermal heating

It looks like we may have to opt for a new one - but are struggling to find anyone to supply one or advise if it could be repaired who are local to us.  We have tried to contact the manufacturers Atlantic IVT but again no joy

Does anyone have any suggestions / recommendations?? We would be eternally grateful - our nearest large town is Villeneuve sur Lot

try geothermic france , im sure they are  a national company , try the manufactures again , they must have a tech side

Far as I can see Atlantic are simply a distributor for the Swedish IVT Co which in turn uses Mitsubishi compressors etc.

You may find some of the techy info useful if you are Swedish (Babelfish?), I should imagine there will be a French equivalent.

Have you contacted whoever installed the system, or failing that a local specialist.

They are based at  Port Sainte Marie probably 20 miles way. If you look you will no doubt find others.

I would contact the manufacturer

I install geothermie, alternative energy solutions, heating, plumbing and gas but I do not offer follow up maintenance outside my warranty period

I am able to do this by ensuring the equipment I install is fully supported by the manufacturer and/or their appointed and trained agents in the region

This is better for the client as the person who attends is fully up to date with the product, carries all common spares and has immediate access to the manufacturer for assistance in problem diagnosis

Direct contact with Atlantic with a request for them to supply details of their local approved maintenance provider would be my first approach

I have not checked their website but all these manufacturers either have details of local agents or the facility to email to get the information

Atlantic are a major manufacturer of heating equipment and I would be amazed if they cannot help you
