Knotting

Can anyone tell me the name for the  French version of knotting?

I`ve got some skirting board and architrave that I need to seal prior to painting, I think it`s been mentioned on the forum before but the search facility is playing up.

Thanks in anticipation,

Dexter

Yes, I had trouble with this too, in precisely similar circumstances.

And there have been previous threads including this one…

Good times [:)]

I have heard that rubbing a clove of garlic on the knot in question also works but I have never tried it because I have shellac [:P]
