Does anyone know if I can download a form for permis de constuire or do I have to get it from the local mairie

thank you for reply, my french is not that good, do you know what form i need to fill in, theres" les permis d'amenager"  cerfa 13409 and theres" pour maison individuelle et/ou ses annexes" cerfa 13406 also i have a number on my certificat d urbanisme, do i put  this number in the permis de construire form

You best go to the mairie and explain what you're planning to do and they'll give you the relevant forms.

I am planning to convert my barn in to a house which means change of appearance plus installation of water and electric and maybe a fosse septic, trouble is there seems to be 2 different forms for permis de constuire, which one is the best

I would suggest a trip to local planning office, DDE, they like to be consulted and are always helpful, they will tell you what you can and cannot do as they are the ones who decide in the end, not the maire! although you will probably need to submit the forms thru the maires office, thats france unfortunately.

And in our village which has protected status, getting an appointment with the people from Architecte de Batiments de France is also helpful - they are the final decision makers. When we first purchased our house, I spent an hour or so wandering round with M Le Maire discussing the merits and demerits of different styles of roof tile - complete waste of effort as the Architecte had completely different ideas - which of course involved hand -made tuiles plats, petits sables; which in turn required new roofing timbers to support the extra weight .....and the original tiles were deemed unsuitable as they were (ordinary) reddish 'farm building '  tiles in his opinion!

baitiments de france, are they local goverment people, im in 79 and my nearest town is parthenay, so are these people in parthenay in that big building up the road which is opposite mr bricolage and the new swimmming
