Thanks for the answers guys and gals.  I have just once used the free wifi at the Macdonalds in Les Herbiers but had my whole address book wiped and friends sent very dodgy french (originated) e-mails that said they were from me.[:(] It took me three weeks to sort the problems out and I had to input all my contacts again.  I really only wanted a pay as you go dongle as we are only in France for about 10 weeks a year and it would be for keeping in contact with the rest of the family when we were away. I am still trying to persuade my French neighbour that he wants Wifi but he will have none of it[:P]   Judith      

The thing that drives me really mad is when the kids at school all write 'u' instead of you because that is what they use all the time on their phones and computers.  Arggggg!!!      

Personaly I put the tin in the fridge so you can slice it easier then put it under a yorkshire pudding [:D] its the best and makes a cheap meal when feeding lots my mum always used to put it with onions in a suet pastry wrapped up in a cloth and boiled - not too healthy but very tasty.

Please can some one give me a rough idea of what to write in a letter to the the insurance company. We would like to cancel the car insurance as we have just sold the car and no longer require it. It will not be up for renewal until august.  Is there any other documentation needed and will i be able to cancel the insurance before august Please? I know there have be lots of post in this before and have tried to look through them before posting so sorry if this is covering old ground. Thanks in advance Judith

Hello Everyone We are still sadly missing our little meg and will for a very long time.  However, ariving back from france sunday, (only 24 hours ago, seems longer than that already) we had a new years present from my eldest daughter, rather through my eldest daughter, we have now aquired a new member of the family who needed a new home for various reasons, my OH was told about him before christmas but we thought it was too soon after meg, he went and looked at him yesterday and brought him home.  We are now the proud owners of [url=http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=21jokes&s=5]Louis[/url] a 6 month old springer spaniel.  He has already crept into our hearts, he is very good natured, likes the cats and the kids and is already well behaved.  Of course he still needs a lot of training but hubby looking forward to that. We will never forget Meg as we have so many good memmories of her but this nutty, friendly, loving puppy will go along way to filling the gap that she left.
