  1. Hoddy wrote, It has nothing to do with party politics I think it’s getting worrying close to a lack of belief in democracy when politicians of all stripes seem only to be interested in personal advantage. You are correct, many people see MP’s as ‘out for themselves’. I know many of you dislike Nigel Farage, but I would point out that he has worked for many years in the city, and when asked by a reporter was he in politics for the money, he laughed loudly, he could earn far more in other lines of work, and has. He is in politics because he believes in what he is doing, which does make a refreshing change. How do I know this is true, well if it was not, then he would have been exposed by now for sure. His past must be squeaky clean or else ‘the establishment’ who have had him by now. Nigel is not anti Europe, and I guess most of us on this forum are not either. How could he be, being from French stock, and having a German wife. He is anti the EU, and its control of people by unelected bodies. When he is questioned on his beliefs, he needs no script to read from, to tell him how to answer, as its what he passionately believes in. Rabbie say that perhaps MP’s wages should be lowered, and more people from, how should I put it, lower positions might become MP’s. But they could not do the job. Look at the leader of the Green party, see froze when questioned by a radio presenter, and did not know how to answer. Imagine if she went before Paxman. I am afraid its down to the fact, that people from lower walks of like cannot hold these positions as they are not up to it. Most lack the balls, or they would not still be in their position in the first place. Hence the huge appeal of UKIP at present, a leader who is not on the take, for personal gain, again if he was doing anything wrong we would know. So this time around Dave has lost my vote. I am all for the top people being rewarded, and the shirkers being penalised but when you make people who are disabled move because they have an extra bedroom in the house they have lived in for years, as they did when the bedroom tax was brought in, then that is a step too far. There was no alternative five years ago, as I hated Blair/ Brown, but this time there is. And so it is for many many people I know.
  2. Betty wrote, If it did come to a UK exit from the UK Best go and edit before everyone see's.
  3. Judith wrote Or rather ... exterminate. ...exterminate .. exterminate .... surely a much better idea?? Have you been radicalised?? You sound like an IS agent, your not ‘Jihad Judith’ are you by any chance??
  4. Well I cant find anything insulting in my post, all the things I wrote where clearly stated by Q many times in this, an open public forum. I merely stated the facts, and never insulted. If I had added words which Q uses often when writing about Kippers, namely ‘thick’ and ‘stupid’ to the description then it could have been described as offensive. Remember what Andrew Neil ( yes, I also watch ‘this week’) said so well, ‘nobody has the right not to be offended’. If Q wishes to start almost weekly posts running UKIP and the Kippers down, expect not everyone to agree. I could have posted when UKIP absolutely smashed all the others in the last two by elections, but to what ends, we are all too old to change our minds on the subject, you either love or hate UKIP, why slag each other off. I doubt you would change your mind, or me mine. I was merely pointing out someone with Q’s lifestyle and history and hopes for the future would be different to mine. Trouble is people want to read it as an insulting possibly racist post. It was not. Regarding the European project, it is something I wish to see not only derailed, but smashed to pieces. I have no wish for an unelected elite in Brussels making laws which I have to live by, with no way of removing their power by the ballot box. That does start wars. God forbid that if the French had a hand in making all our laws in the UK, we would all end up as poor as most of their own people, who outside of the Paris suburbs are driving around mostly in mobile scrap heaps from the 1980’s as they cant afford any better. Some may say they are happy with their lot, lets hope so, as they will never be able to change it.
  5. Seems deserved of a deletion to me. So you want to delete the post which you disagree with ? Where are all the ‘ Je suis Charlie’ people now????
  6. But your views as a Jewish person of a mixed race marriage, with gay people in your family ( you often state these facts, so clearly you are very proud of them) would be completely different to a white English straight persons view. So you will never understand, or would I expect you too. Or would I waste my time trying to explain it to you, as your love of the post delete button when anyone posts anything you disagree with is well known.
  7. As was once said, ‘Rules and laws are put in place for the guidance of wise men. They are also there for the unquestioned, blind and total compliance of fools’.
  8. No, I am not really proud of the present government, but at least I am not ashamed of them, like when Brown and Blair were in charge. Anyway, how can you even compere the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer, etc. to the loss of MILLIONS of lives worldwide and the total upheaval to many MILLIONS more due to Blair, Bush and their lies??
  9. NormanH wrote, One of the big banks/financial institutions (can't remember which one at the mo) is already forecasting that the next UK Government will be formed by a coalition of Labour and the SNP. Anything would be better than the present filth. I wonder who you would prefer to run the UK then, perhaps the ‘great’ Mr Brown, he made such a good job of it all when he was driving. Or perhaps you love Mr Blair, that great LABOUR leader who lied to parliament about about WMD in Iraq, ignored over 1,000,000 people who marched in London opposing any war. He has caused jointly with his buddy George more death and mayhem in this world then any past prime minister has in living memory. I suspect you are also happy to see the shed loads of cash he earns. A true Labour ‘man of the people’. You must, as a Labour supporter be REALLY proud of your party!!!
  10. Comment removed by moderator. Ebaynut - Your pushing your luck, best leave it alone now.
  11. ‘Betty@ wrote, I think you are right, ebay nut. Although I am not sure that the intellectual aspect is still applicable. Were any of your posts ever then ???? You must point them out if they were Sir, I seem to have missed them.
  12. On page six of this thread ‘Betty’ wrote I honk it says all I want to. I'd rather just leave this now, as I can see we are off into the realms of a pseudo-intellectual pissing contest. You are a funny old boy ‘Betty’, thought you had left this thread, more pi55ing needed I guess??
  13. Linda, The recent terrorists in France did not not look ‘French’ to me. Not a stripped vest, beret or onion string in site. Also, France offered these families, peace, freedom of speech, liberty, healthcare and education... this is how France is repaid. Don't worry that my previous recommendation is not dealing with these latest perpetrators, that is in my plan ’B’, but I can’t post that as it would be deleted due to lack of freedom of speech rules. BTW when you say they have a legal right to be in Europe, is that legal by the rules of the present leaders, because I suspect and hope changes will be taking place to rid us of both them, and their multicultural ideals. It is because Europe has been soft and let anyone enter it in the recent past, that we have these ‘people’ here today and people like you who actually think of them as ‘French’. It’s a bit like saying Mo Farah the runner, Lewis Hamilton the car racer and Jaguar/Rolls Royce cars are British. They ain’t!!!!
  14. Now the latest group has been killed in Paris, its about time our current leaders made some plans as to how they will stop more of these ‘people’ carrying out further attacks. For starters they MUST close the borders to Europe, letting only people in and out who have a legal right to be here. Lets put our armies on the borders with orders to shoot to kill anyone who tries to break through. We don't mind letting our soldiers kill in our name when they are sent into recent ‘wars’, so we should not mind this. It would be hypocritical. Once that is done, we can then set about catching all those who are in Europe illegally, and deport them to wherever they came from. If they have no home country, then no one will mourn them if they were to go ‘missing’. All Muslins are indeed not terrorists, but all recent terrorists are Muslim. You would not let a mad dog in with your kids, but we are forced to allow these ‘people’ to live amongst us, by manager type governments who don't really give a damn about the ‘man in the street’ whoever he is. Thank God that there are people like Nigel and Marie who speak up on this subject, or else there would be no hope for native Europeans in their own countries. When the most popular name for a boy in the UK last year was Mohammed, you really have to wonder where it all went wrong and where this will all end. I suspect this post will almost certainly be deleted, and if it is, it just shows how much ‘free speech’ really is valued these days.
  15. The cause of this whole scenario is the fault of Western governments. For years they have sent troops into countries which are of no concern of ours, blow people up, and then invite people from these same countries to come and live amongst us. Then they seem surprised that all this is kicking off, well I for one am not. Q is right, that this will give the FN a boost, I however see this as a positive development, unlike him who is always so negative about MLP.
  16. I am always amazed whenever UKIP is mentioned, there are always a number of posters on here who say that immigrants work hard for low pay, the lazy British wont work etc etc. Well I personally have no problem with people coming here from Europe to work, what I have a REAL problem with is groups of Asian taxi drivers who were on all the main news programs this week, who abused and even branded with a hot iron, under age white girls and force them into have sex with them. The lady from the DPP even stated there was a large problem with this happening in the UK. I have REAL problems with Muslims from Spark hill in Birmingham who want to make bombs to blow up white people in this country, but of course they are not immigrants, they are British Muslims ( WTF is one of them??) and I have REAL problems with the scum who like to climb in the back of lorries and try to enter the UK this way. Do you think for one second they are here to work. No women or children with them, just young fit men But no, ignore all this filth, after all many on here believe this scum have rights. Take our Muslin "friends", and the way they like to kill their animals, barbaric but for some reason this government allows this cruelty. It should be banned and perhaps the same fate applied to those who think it OK to cut an animals neck and let it bleed to death. I cant even take a drink on an  airplane anymore because the Muslims like to blow our planes up, yet we let them enter the UK and live here. So if we have to send home those that come here to work to get rid of the above mentioned, then I fell it is a price which is worth paying. Shame that a certain poster who watches "saints and scroungers" does not mention all the non white multi fraud cheats its highlights.
  17. Q wrote,   UKIP is an insult to all those that fought for freedom of Europe in WW2. Wooly there is no point in trying to explain to fascists, they never change their spots.   Hold on a minute, "fighting for the freedom of Europe in WW2". Remember if it had not been for the UK there would be no freedom in Europe, unless you speak German. My father fought that war, my uncle was on the D day landing. They did not fight and risk their lives to free "your lot" from what the Germans were doing to them, they risked their lives to keep this country free of invaders, who if they had reached the UK would have done the same to the British as they had the people in mainland Europe. Believe me, saving "your lots" arse was not what they went for, freeing Europe was not what they went for, keeping their families and homes safe is what they went for. So, if ANYONE wishes to vote UKIP or BNP it is their right, we the British people have earned that right, its not for someone who is not  British, or even lives in the UK to call them fascists. 11000+ people in Eastleigh cant be wrong.  [:D]
  18. Russethouse wrote, A lady on QT explained how she and her brother were born in London but her brother has chosen to move out first to the suburbs and then to the countryside because he preferred that way of life. The lady was Diane Abbot ! Would that be the same Diana Abbot who is the brunt of 1000 jokes by Andrew Neil on This Week?? Its just that one doesn't often see the words Diana Abbot and lady in the same sentence.
  19. Their father worked really hard to give his children a good future, they in turn contribute to UK society just like everyone else, what's the problem?   If you need to ask that question I feel it would be pointless for me to try to explain to you the answer. If they are such good hard workers, why did they choose to come to my country and not stay in their own and make a success of their lives there??
  20. But its not the immigrants causing the problem, its the people choosing to move out. And since you don't actually know any of these immigrants how do you actually know they live in such dreadful conditions ? Of course if we didn't have immigrants to pay tax, who would pay your pension ? But the people are moving out of the cities BECAUSE of the immigrants and overcrowding. I don't receive a pension yet, I am not of that age. But I have worked hard in my younger years and have a nice portfolio of rental properties, of which I choose my tenants very carefully, ( I am sure you know what I mean by that) now nearly all paid for which will provide me with an income far in excess of any Pi55 poor amount this or any future government may deem to hand out.
  21. Never mind that's life and no political party can change that for you. But just stop and think that things could be a lot worse for you. You could wake up tomorrow and find a black, Romanian, homosexual transvestite and his 'wife' have moved in as neighbours.   Well my nearest neighbour one side is the Church which is about half a mile away, also think of the fun my two German Shepherds, Adolf and Hess would have with them.  [:D]
  22. Betty wrote, If it's such a problem to people like ebaynut, and as endemic as they suggest, then it does seem strange that s/he claims not to know a single immigrant. I did not say I never see any immigrants unfortunately, just I don't know any.   But here is my problem. I live about six miles from a rural market town, over the last twenty five years, that town has grown with new housing all around. Luckily, the price of the houses in the area keeps immigrants down to a minimum, but these new houses get sold to people ( mainly white English) moving out from the large cities and towns due to overcrowding as more houses are turned into homes of multiple occupancy for people who will live in such 5hit conditions. Guess who they are???? So more of MY green and pleasant land where I choose to live gets covered in concrete for the escapees and their Tesco's etc, parking and traffic increases and what was a quite backwater is turning into a major town. Progress some may say, hell I would say. These people do not really wish to live in the country, they are not country people, but cant afford to stay in town, so we get them wanting their street lighting, white lined car parks, McDonalds and all the other things they are used to.  I feel for them, turned from their home area, but at least this is a good point of conversation where we agree. Luckily I live in a very isolated area, so it does not bother me too much until I have to go into town for something, then the change really hits you.
  23. Never felt the urge to keep sheep?   I could be tempted now you mention it,   [Www]     Have you some you could spare???
  24. Well maybe if you did you would think a lot harder about it. My feeling is that historically we are a nation that has thrived on immigration. Have you ever investigated your family tree? Most people find that they have immigrant ancestors some where along the line...in our case my forebears came from Prussia to work in the leather trade and my husbands ancestors were Huguenots   I have no doubt that Q could find a link somewhere to something in my distance past where a member of my family had sex with a goat trader in Outer Mongolia about 1000 years ago, so proving once and for all I was not truly English, but no, I have never found the need to check back. I knew my great grandfather and I have no need to worry about his genes. [:)]
  25. just shows you for the bigot you truly are "BIGOT", now I am truly hurt. You know how sensitive I am. [Www]
