  1. well it seems my information has gone unwanted i will not bother in future. steve you call farmers land grabbing but you say you wish to change tennant because a young farmer offered to give you wood or somthing. then you said it was not about the money. sounds like you have nothing better to do than play god with pople livelyhoods. max
  2. hi steve i have just read your post 18/01/08  8;37 it is i am afraid not you in france who choses (if you wish to have a tennant) who exploits your land. it is the dda, adasa, chambre of agri., fdsea any other unions in your area, plus the c.agricole. by the way my post about 6 years dose not apply if you wish to rent the land to someone else. only if you wish to take the land back in hand for you own use. max
  3. wjt  you can sell your standing grass every year, but be sure to say exactly that. a claim can not then be made to the land. you are selling a crop. max
  4. hello if you can not settle the matter you can force him to take a bail for 6 years, 18months before the bail finishes you must give him written notice to quit, via the notaire. 6 years is the shortest bail. max
  5. as in england as soon as you let the same farmer use your land 2 years running he has a right to continue using it.
  6. moderators my last post has been takn off. i have many friends who are farmers and non off them are land grabbing. i also have many english friends who are money grabbing and they admit it. yet i can not start a thread money grabbing en..... max
  7. hello you may find if you did not have a tennant on the when you bought it you would probably have been pre empted on the land by the safer max
  8. hello well the time spent in france could always be looked at as a holiday, then thanks would have to be given to the french governerment for the cover that has been recieved up till now. max
  9. a teacher training course is a licence by the way and the concour allows you (if you pass) on to it. i hope this clears any confusion up. well done with your masters and good luck with your licence max
  10. groslard i am afraid you are wrong ,a licence or masters whatever, the concour is taken before a course its an entrance test. where did i states what level a licence is. you need to pass a concour to be accepted on the licence course in many cases as with tacher traning. max
  11. hello groslard you said But for many posts in France one has to pass a 'concours' after passing the qualification. however yes you do but this still only gives you access to take a licence and it is this licence that enables you to be installed as a teacher. max
  12. benjamin i am sorry for not reading all the past posts on this subject i have been busy at work. i will endeavour to gt up to speed. max
  13. deimos said And why not.  Of course for each person who does it would mean one less French person being employed.  deimos do not worry about the french they are already on the system max
  14. yes krusty it is sour grapes but it looks like some of you might have to work too. max
  15. hello i do not know anything about diabetes but dose it stop you from working a few hours taching the local school english? you are then on the system max
  16. hello there could be a strruggle to get support from the french when the smic is less than 20,000 euros and they lose 35 to 39% just in social charges. they work hard as well. english are perceived to have money as the english often buy big houses and 4+4's. why not do as grosland suggested and put a bit more thought into health cover when selling up in england max
  17. hello very good points, nobody should be left without cover. however if you worked in england and payed all your ni there and never in france why then should france pay for your cover. there is not enough money for the french. max
  18. hello again, so as i understand it you only do not qualify, if you have never worked in france, not at retirement age and do not wish to work but have the capacity to work max
  19. hello im sorry for my opinion, but how many of you are under 60 never worked here and expect the french to pay for you max
  20. hello well you can always go home [post edited by the moderators]. who do you think is going to pay the shortfall for people who are perhaps in their 50's who do not want to work. max The moderators have edited this post as per the forum Code of Conduct: Users must not post messages which: Are insulting, abusive, racist, sexist, or derogatory in any way to others, whether they are individuals or companies, users of the Forum or not. 22. thankyou for your help, and sorry for the error in my english. "mayor" as my english is not so good sue i will write in french. Merci   Max
  23. hello, can anyone tell me if i need to become french national to be marie max
  24. Morning, Probably the question has already been asked,  but im a bad reader. bad eyes you know. I know you can drive at 16 accompanied and need to be 18 to take your testin France, however can a English driver with with a full permit drive in France at 17? Max.
  25. hi I hate swearing, it is totally unnessary. In France swearing is just as offenceive. Do you not feel it is all down to the family. If you do not swear as a family you will be more offended than a family who swears. I was made to oppolagise for sayig mer** by my 2 daughters. They were really quite cross. Whatever the circumstances there are no excusses, and i was rightly made to answer. If I swore in English in an English home I would expect to be asked to leave as in France the same would happen. I try not to listen to stations who play this type of music or go in shops who play it. I am sure they are banned in England.
