1.
BTW I am very confused as to why most people will happily eat piglet, bunny, chick, lamb, calf etc but proclaim horror at the suggestion of eating kitten, puppy or foal.
Lol I presume you're veggie....   BTW the stuff sold for animals in Lclerec is rubbish. Bones mostly and fat.
2. True... being certified as fit for human consumption and actually being fit for human consumption are not quite the same thing. :)
3. I have fed raw for several years now. So am fairly up to speed on the topic. If a Vet is telling you that kibble is healthier for your dog, then I am sorry your Vet is wrong. My issue is that I have Great Danes, who require significantly more than a couple of ribs a day... and unfortunately the hunting season is over. :(
4. Does he quote the Scottish Univ or HEC on his resume as the school? Makes a world of difference.... Grande Ecoles!
5. If you do find a few... please fry them and *pretty please* invite me over :):):)
6. I am up 4 Kgs... back on Atkins. I suspect its all the bread I eat.... I love hot toast with butter and marmite. Its like crack cocaine for me... :(
7. Make a raft and escape to the English speaking world... (OK bad humor) they are great for insulation... but you need more than a bag full. Buy pins and pin them together... Neo Art... I am grasping at straws.... Sell them on Ebay... people buy all kind of wierd things.. Throw them away?
8. Horse is not an option. I dont feed my doggies anything I wouldnt eat. I do appreciate the suggestion, however horses are for riding not eating...IMHO
9. Wierd question, but I need to buy large quantities of meat at the lowest rate. I do know that this might not be the most appropriate forum for this, but you never know until you try. Essentially I am willing to buy half a cow at a time, or half a pig. I do need this to feed my dogs, so it doesnt matter if the meat is not certified for human consumption. Though human consumption certification would help, since that way I could eat it as well...   Thank you in advance for ideas...

Clearing Customs

Miggimeggi,   Thank your for sharing your information. We do not have a pet relocation service or freight forwarder involved. Which might make things a little more complex. Yes we will be driving back to France, and for the car have already procured adequate amounts of plastic to prevent accidents from damaging the car. :) A firend of mine is actually bringing the dog across.
11. That is odd... but then dogs have their ways... mine loves RMB's

Clearing Customs

I dont know what kidn Maggie is, but Laila is a Great Dane, and arriving from a thrid world country... so I just do not want any surprises. Also what paperwork do we need to carry with us, aside from the pet passport etc...
13. IMHO feed the dogs a raw diet comprising of meat, meaty bones and organ meats... it is in my opinion the best for them.
14. Our dog(s) are fed on a raw diet. Ie. Raw Meat and Meaty Bones, Organs etc... given the high cost of meat in the supermarkets the question arises... how do we procure meat more cheaply. The hunting season I believe is over, so that isnt an option currently... :( Ideas and solutions greatly appreciated...

Clearing Customs

My dog is finally arriving on the 7th. We have had her microchipped, tatooed,  blood tested, pet passported et al. The flight itself will be nine hours, and since the only direct flight is into Frankfurt Am Main she is arriving there. I would like experiences of clearing customs, formalities et al and what one can expect. Cheers
16. An MBA from INSEAD is highly regarded globally. Within France you will find doors opening magically since it is considered a part of the Grand Ecoles though INSEAD doesnt acknowledge it openly. Both ISEAD and HEC are very highly regarded French schools on a global scale, and definetely at par with Kellogs, or LSE or Harvard. Go for it.
17. Why are houses so expensive in France? At least in Dept 10, it is largely rural, nothing happening in the region but try finding a house you can just move into for under 200K. Even lofts are in that range, which is ridiculous. Just trying to understand and vent...
18. Suze, Still on Atkins and have lost a further few Kgs, am down to 88 Kgs, 13 more to go. I drink Vodka and water, you get used to it, and when you do have an occaisional mixer it tastes wierd. Cheers
19. Albert your email seems to be bouncing... let me know if you recieved my mail. :)
20. I actually am paying a fortune to the vet to bring the dog here. You dont want to know how much....   But yes I do have the dane in good hands... and thank you for the help. I will reach out if I need more help on this...
21. Infopikey,   VB is dead. There is no development happening in VB since it is in extended support. Unless of course youre talking about VB.NET which is a different ball game. Good Oracle, Certified? Experienced about 350 a day is possible. Do you have niche skills, such as BizTalk then upto 1100 a day is possible.   Drop me a mail, I might be able to help
22. Have been craving for a good chocolate cheese cake for about three years... (too long a story). Cant find the semblence of one here....   So ... Recipies please[:S]
23. Well I back as well. Down to 90 Kgs... 20 more to go [:$] Not dieting... but a combination of deciding between Breakfast or dinner given the corporate restrictions on spending... is making a dent int he fat. Down side is that I need new clothes. Over the last six months I have lost 25 Kgs... [:O] I try and stick to Atkins... but am largely only drinking... Vodka [:$]
24. Would appreciate it if you could PM me details. :)
