1. There is a well developed site with museum etc. in the Indre, just outside Argenton sur Creuse, see http://www.argentomagus.com/indexgb.php
 2.
AnnM has posted the info here: http://www.completefrance.com/cs/forums/676120/ShowPost.aspx AnnM I have posted this so that eamonn gets the email notification - hope thats OK
That's great, thank you.  You have obviously done some magic to make the posting a reply work!
 3. I can't get the reply to work on the original so I'm replying here: http://www.chrishead.net/pict.htm may be the person you are looking for!
 4. Well there are no replies so I'll try another thread.  Thanks!
 5. I have replied to messages before, so I know it's not a more general problem, but when I try to reply to the message "This is a long shot" in the Post Bag I get a screen with the original message at the top and what appears to be a blank area superimposed over the lower two thirds of the screen (it partially covers the last line of the message).  The buttons for Post and Preview are visible but it isn't possible to type anywhere.
 6.
Hi AnnM. Which question did you get wrong? I'll feel a lot better if it's one that I got (or more likely guessed) right [:)] I got 6, by the way.
I guessed the Hall of Mirrors for the Versailles question.  I wish I hadn't done the thing, I feel horribly conspicuous, but I'm a sucker for quizzes/questionnaires etc.
 7. How embarrassing.  I think I'll retire whence I came!
 8.
What would be more helpful would be if the moderators could tell you which cookies to delete, rather than delete them all.
I have just deleted my cookie for this site, [email protected][1].txt and it made me log in again. To do the same, go to C drive: Documents and Settings [whatever your login name is] Cookies and look for your login name followed by www.completefrance.txt like mine above.  Delete it/them and start again. That should do it.
 9.
a mysterious person called Ann M.
Not mysterious at all, no.
