We take a 25% deposit within 5 days to secure the booking.  You can accept credit cards if you set up a paypal acdcount (like for ebay sales and purchases) and the costs is about 4% which you could ask people to pay if they are paying by thisd method. I think people expect to have to pay a deposit - we state it is non refundable   Hope this helps

There are a lot of black figures really close together on the road from La Rochefoucauld to Angouleme in the Charente . On the whole the motorways that we use seem to be pretty good - we haven't seen many accidents however once you approach Paris on the Peripherique the madness seems to take hold of the locals and lane hopping becomes a national obsession!!!

We are in a similar boat - bought just over a year ago and coming back at Easter for the last few DIY touches I know you shouldn't wish your life away but can't wait to retire!.....sadly(!) a few years to go yet The only trouble with coming to the house (near St Mathieu) is having to come back to UK again........
