hi, we had the same problems with our account when we set it up.  we contacted moneybookers who gave us their english bank details.  so now we do a normal bacs transfer (sterling) from our english bank into their bank account.  once the money is uploaded to the moneybookers account we can withdraw it in euros to our french account.   hope this helps

hi, cant help you with the cheese i am afraid.  but super u sell bacon a l'anglaise which is pre packed it is a bit thin but it is quite nice, not expensive either only 1.60 euro for 8 slices hope that helps.

Hi, has anyone on this forum recently tried to sign a PACS agreement.  we found that there was an initial problem regarding the "Certificat de coutume et les pieces d'etat civil" as England does not recognise two people living together as they do in France, the British Consulate send me a letter to be given to the Magistrate to overcome this problem. However I have been told that this is insufficient and we cannot sign a PACS agreement, this is a very serious matter especially for inheritance purposes here in France. Has anyone else had any experience of this  

i have had lots of problems with moneybookers, sometimes it has taken them upto 42 days to upload my money into my moneybookers account and from there into my French bank account.  I have had to prove that they took the money from my english account, by providing copies of my statements and even after sending them this proof, they still took their time.  They did not reply to my e-mails,and they never gave me a reply as to why it had taken so long. I did get a call from them stating that I should use this particular person and that the delays should not happen again, but they have so I have to say that I am very disappointed with there service and there customer service leaves something to be desired.
