[quote]Has anyone got experience of filling in the forms?I got a leter saying my French registered car was photograped on the motorway at 160kph in a 130 limit.It could have been anyone one of three people d...[/quote] Oh yeah!  My hubby just got one of those in the mail too!  128 in a 90 (work zone he didn't know was 90....there were about 6 cones on the road and this equaled a work zone????)  We call that a speed trap in the States.  Eh well....we were in the states when it arrived so it was about a month late....I only bought the 90 euros stamp from the tabac.  Guess they'll be coming after us if they want more.   ....this is his 2nd ticket in 10 months. 5 points off his liscense.  The first was for no seat belt.  He was getting in and out of our moving van and forgot to fasten it one time.   Vive la France.

My name is Dawn and I live in France.  Moved here about 10 months ago from the US with my husband and two kids.  We are in the vosges and enjoying it very much.   (I was very happy to find this forum.....after seeing the France forum at Expatica was a complete cesspool of constant insults and bickering...this seems quite refreshing!!   Good day to all   Dawn
