Revel is a beautiful market town not far from the foothills of the black mountains. It appears regularly on that programme where the english chef moved out with his family. Wish I could afford to buy there.

I have been told they are moving some gas plant out of Toulouse to (sorry to be sketchy) somewhere in the sticks on outskirts of Graulhet for security reasons and need a fast road to get there for the workers.

Graulhet, I think that is how it is spelt. If you draw a line between toulouse and castres it is situated just north of the line. It is not a small town but is not in rough guide book. ERA France have an immobilier there and thats about all I know sorry.

Take that as a no then

Anyone know what exactly is happening with this new road from Toulouse to Graulhet?

Dewima, Two apoligies 1)spelling you name incorrectly 2) Not realising you are not already living there. However, you say you like the villages outside Albi. Trey looking at Lautrec. The proposed road through the Tarn will make it more accessible to Toulouse and therefore (so I have been told) a good investment. It is a hilltop bastide and is not yet in any tourist book. It is famous for its red label garlic (the champagne of the garlic world) and holds two festivals each year. Walking is excellent around the village and plains with many marked tracks and views to Pyrenees and Black Mountains. http://ot.lautrec.free.fr/ It seems there are many old ruined village houses perhaps the canny owners are waiting for the increase check it out. Karen.

Thank you both for your replies. With regards to the parents association, is that the one the international schools website?
