  1. Dear All I was hoping to continue an umpiring course I started in London two years ago and discovered that they hold these courses in Paris, during the winter. I was also told that there was a cricket club at Les Ormes between Comberg and Dol de Bretagne, run by a Mr Pullen from Epiniac. I was given a number for him but was told this number didn't exist. White Pages have no mention of him. Does anyone have any info re this. Is there a cricket club here? Many thanks & regards Jake
  2. I have always been told that bidets are considered rather pass in France but sworn by in Germany / Holland. I think they are on the ugly side and add little aesthetically to the bathroom.
  3. Is there a single internet site that shows buslinks in an around Brittany. I wanted to find a bus route between Jugon and Dinan and Dinan and St Solen, St Malo etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Kindest regards Jake
  4. LAST EDITED ON 27-Apr-04 AT 10:26 PM (BST) LAST EDITED ON 27-Apr-04 AT 10:26PM (BST) In Cherbourg - when you go into the ferry terminal - there is a small office 100 yards down to the left where you can enquire about secure parking. (If you can't find it ask at BF or P&O.) I can't remember how much it is but it was not a lot when I did about six months ago. (20 for five days? roughly) Re Portsmouth, I haven't a clue, I'm afraid. Kind regards Jake
  5. I am looking for a new home for my labrador / setter cross, who at 1.5 years old, is extremely sweet but very energetic. He is a he, and has not been castrated, but this is something I would fund if a new owner wished. His temperament is very good. We have two children - one aged 4 - and he has never nipped or bitten. Anybody interested in having a dog please let me know. Kind regards
  6. An excellent place to buy cheap books is http://www.abebooks.com. To use their blurb it is 'the world's largest online marketplace for used, rare, and out-of-print books'. Well worth a look. Kind regards & enjoy your reading. Jake http://www.property22.com
  7. I always find the attached website (imdb) an absolute must if looking for a film. I have attached the link for the above film: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0040236/ From this it appears not be available on DVD or video, but ebay would worth checking periodically. A lovely postcard on the subject, for example, at the attached link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2207136903&category=16749 Kind regards
