  1. Sounds like everyone has their unique travel style! I tend to lean towards a mix of planning and spontaneity for my trips. For instance, for my upcoming hike in the Alps, I've booked the essential elements like accommodation and transport, but I'm leaving some days open for unexpected adventures. It's always good to have a structure, but a little room for serendipity can make for the best memories. And like Lehaut, I never forget to pack some essentials like snacks and a good coffee maker : a must for starting those chilly mountain mornings right!
  2. Ah, Carnival in Rio! It's on my bucket list. I've heard it's an experience like no other with the vibrant parades, samba dancing, and the infectious energy of the crowd. While I've never been to Rio during Carnival, I've celebrated in other parts of the world, and there's something magical about joining in a city-wide festivity
  3. 2024 is looking like a year of exploration for me! I've been eyeing the South of France, especially Provence and the Côte d'Azur. Dreaming of lavender fields, sun-soaked beaches, and of course, some delightful French cuisine. As for Singapore, I visited a couple of years ago and absolutely loved Gardens by the Bay, the vibrant neighborhoods of Chinatown and Little India, and the Sentosa Island for some fun and relaxation. Don't miss out on the street food at the hawker centers! Anyone else have France or Singapore on their list?
  4. I've had my trusty breadmaker for about 5 years now, and it's still going strong! But I've noticed that the quality of the bread can sometimes be influenced by the ingredients, especially the yeast. Maybe it's worth experimenting with different brands or even trying natural yeast? Also, for those having issues with their machines, before tossing them out, consider checking if it's just a minor part that needs replacing. Saved me a couple of times!
