  1. Husqvarna are now independant from Electolux and concentrate on the industrial end of the market unlike McCulloch the DIY brand.  I work for a national tool hire company and we have them in the hire fleet so should be a good buy with a reliable service network in France.
  2. We bought ours sometime ago at the professional cook shop outlet store in Ashford.  We have now taken one out to our house in France because they are so good.  I did a quick google search and found the same item available from Amazon.  Sorry not sure if they are available in France!!  http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kitchen-Craft-Piece-Pizza-Stone/
  3. We use a ceramic Pizza stone which you pre-heat in the oven.  The results are amazing and very quick.  Topping favourites are Tuna, Anchovie and fresh Mozzerella.
  4. Hello (Bonjour) nous avon un maison dans Ommeel Pres de Gace et Argentan.  And my French has just run out.  We take regular lessons in the UK but feel we are running into a brick wall.  We always seem to manage in France but that is just about it.  Would love to get involved providing the main aim was to improve the communication skills.  We will be out over Easter and would love to get in touch? Regards
  5. I recently had 7 ton of pink granite chippings delivered by Point P (Argentan 61) which cost about 200 euros including delivery.
  6. Service is terrible, and the call centre staff are most unhelpful when trying to make an amendment. I will never use them again, however thay have brought a common sense pricing approach from the big boys.
  7. I work in the hire business in the UK. Using a floor grinder can be a very slow and laborious process and very messy, the key is what area you need to treat and what finnish you require i.e are you going to screed or floor tile etc. getting a perfect finnish using a floor grinder in unlikely and depending on the scale of the problem you may want to consider breaking out and relaying your floor. Sorry but that is the best I can offer without actually seeing the extent of the problem. Best regards and good luck!
  8. We have a property near Argentan and have had a huge supply of plums, damsons and greengages.  We have recipes for greengage tart, preserved plums (similar to a chutney which apparently is similar to the sauce used for chinese duck!!), plum fool ( Like a mousse) and of course jam, (lots and lots of jam, we ran out of jars).  If you want any of the recipes let us know.
