As a renter never found Chez Nous website very good. You can only search by region and then you have to browse through loads of properties. It would be better if they had options for department or name of nearest large town

The stats office in France has its own website(www.insee.fr) with lots of articles on it - eg the fertility of foreigners and the number of people living alone.
