Bad things about CCF parts 1 and 2, 3

i) To set up a standing order you need to go to your own branch of CCF, not the nearest one you find.

ii) To change your "local branch" to the nearest CCF you find you need to have an interview with them.

iii) To have an interview with them you need to wait a period of up to 7 days for the next available interview spot.

Moral: If you have a branch of CCF, it's better off not to move!

We've already discussed the CCF on here. A pompous lot they are, and it was suggested that they were like Coutts Bank. The idea of Coutts Bank perhaps, but I doubt that they are like Coutts. Traditionally they were the bank that dealt with the 'patrimoine'.

I found another HSBC french bank and they are fine and friendly. As efficient as any french bank I've come across.
