At the moment, my husband and I are self-employed partners, in his instrument engineering consultancy. Val_2 Posted August 21, 2005 Share Posted August 21, 2005 You really need to consult the local Chambre de Metiers and a good french accountant who deals with your type of business to get a true picture of taxes & charges here in France. Whatever you do, you will pay many social charges here and find it completely alien to the UK in that sense. You should also expect to earn a lot less here too.
