Mark
The pound in my pocket today buys me 1.45 euros from a nasty multinational corporation's pocket - to buy, or not to buy? What's Mystic Meg's phone number?Man at nasty multinational corporation informed me that he could offer me 1.49 if I had a billion pounds in my pocket to invest. He was a little sarcastic and I didn't like him.
united
Just looked at moneycorps site they will 'give' you 1.476 for less than 1bn I think!
P
You will get worse from Ryanair. Their current promotion is for fares, including all taxes for 10 euros OR 10 pounds strerling, which makes 1 pound = 1 euro[:(].
Chancer
I got 1.484 a week ago using my Nationwide cash card without charge, my bank offered me much less with a £21 charge.
Ron Avery
Yes I noticed that. On their free or 1p flights if you book UK to France the taxes are £9.99, the other way they are 9.99€ so quite a bit different, perhaps its an error, so book while it is still available. It seems taxes are not exactly fixed and quite variable Ryanair's are normnally higher than EayJet but much lesss than that new Jet 2 .com who appear to be charging double what Ryanair charges and the tax varies with the fare price, low fare higher taxes.
