MADOG & JENNY Posted April 2, 2007 Share Posted April 2, 2007 CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND A FINANCE COMPANY/BANK THAT WE CAN APPROACH FOR A LOAN/MORTAGE. WE OWN OUR HOME WITH NO MORTGAGE. WE WOULD LIKE TO BORROW SOME MONEY TO FINISH HOME IMPROVEMENTS APPROX. 20-30,000 EUROS. THE PROBLEM IS WE ARE SELF-EMPLOYED AND HAVE NOT BEEN IN THIS COUNTRY LONG ENOUGH TO HAVE ANY ACCOUNTANCY RECORDS. WE HAVE RECORDS OF EARNINGS IN ENGLAND UP T0 2005. Babbles Posted April 2, 2007 Share Posted April 2, 2007 I would look for a morgage broker to do the negoiating for you as there are so many different products out there, we're self employed and it didn't prove to be a stumbling block to getting a mortgage for our second home, see if there isonyone local to you who might have a recomendation.
