ING (France) new current account

Anybody investigated this?  Any thoughts?

The literature and web site does not make it entirely clear what is covered, and I'd appreciate any advice or views from those financial gurus on the forum.

My cheque account is with CA, and working on the principle of "if it ain't broke don't fix it" I'm reluctant to change if it doesn't give me a great deal more than I'm getting with the current bank (for example a (good) English speaking adviser if needed, and lots of banks to use), but it implies that it is free to run, (for example, not charging for setting up dd's etc)and I'm not sure I believe them!

I've read it and it looks good to me. However, as I cover all my direct debits by getting cash from the wall with my Nationwide card then paying it in to CA, I can't get round the problem of needing a separate bank account too as I would then have to send a French cheque to ING monthly - a bit of a pain.

Thanks, yes, that was one of the things that was exercising my mind too

- you can have too many accounts, and I am too much involved with CA to

make changing it an easy process.

But it may be an answer to those on this forum always bemoaning the cost of current accounts etc in France!
