Db4 Posted April 11, 2004 Share Posted April 11, 2004 Evening allWe are moving to one of the 2 regions above (please don't ask why 2 cos you will probably lose the will to live by the time I have finished explaining!)We have a 6 year old son, soon to be 7 if he makes it that far and we were wondering about schools in the areas, things to do, any other English people, climate, locals, just all of it really. We have been offered work in both areas so at the moment neither of them having anything more to offer than the other.We intend visiting both before buying somewhere but wanted and insiders guide if possible.Any comments (clean preferably) would be VERY much appreciated.Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Beautiful area, great potential for peace and quiet, great restaurants (list available on request), good transport in Poitiers TGV and Ryan Air (at present...), good health services, local schools still very welcoming of English children (so we are told..ours have long left).
