We are a bit further south near Romagne (in from Vivonne of the N10). What do you want to know about the area???

Hi, We live in 86 South East of Poitiers, in the countryside. Beautiful area, great potential for peace and quiet, great restaurants (list available on request), good transport in Poitiers TGV and Ryan Air (at present...), good health services, local schools still very welcoming of English children (so we are told..ours have long left). Comprehensive shops around the ring road of Poitiers But...spoken French is essential and no easily accessible night life. Anything else??

We were living in Ireland and Germany prior to coming to Poitiers. Just gave up on ferries. We always flew...when you time it right and hire a car it is the only option. Now we are on the ground here would be good to here from any fellow countrypeople...(though have to claim to be half German, so probably don't count)

Anyone with experience of installing the Astra (TV plus broadband service)? Costs, problems info would be great.
