Abbaye Posted September 8, 2005 Share Posted September 8, 2005 Hi, I usually post in the Brittany forum but we are hoping to get away for a long awaited short break and wonder if anyone can recommend a hotel/resort on the coast perhaps in Poitou-Charentes. We are looking for:- not more than 5 hours drive from St Malo, ideally south of La Rochelle type of area- a beach resort/town with good beach, suitable for a toddler- a hotel with indoor swimming pool, massage etc treatments (major relaxation needed!) - not too expensive!- good selection of restaurantsAll recommendations gladly received.Many thanks.Mandy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm sure if you did a search of hotels something nice would come up-it's under a 5 hour drive from St Malo and very French! Marvellous beaches! You could contact the tourist office there or in La Rochelle for more info.. There is a centre for Thalassotherapy on the Ile de Re near La Rochelle.
