Hog horrors!!!!

Did I hear correctly or had I had too much of the old spiced wine last night...there was a wild boar running amok in a clothes store in Poitiers yesterday at the height of the Christmas shopping frenzy. Apparantly it was shot dead in the middle of the shop. Assume it found nothing in its size then?

Seriosly, do hope no one was hurt in the process?

I don't think the boar was too well.............................

Thinking about this, we were there yesterday and there were several pens around the Notre Dame church with animals in. I wonder if it escaped from one of those.

The poor creature must have been terrified. [:(]
