We are a little further on than you but a taxi cost him about 95€ so it is quite expensive. He wasn't able to catch the train because the timing was wrong but I did look into it. It sounds as if you could be a little flexible on scheduling your time. You can pick one up in Bergerac and it is a very low cost of around 8€, they do make a number of stops but I think it should be quite easy.
