celts Posted April 18, 2004 Share Posted April 18, 2004 I am sorry but is this a joke?Does North west France cover all of these areas?I just feel that someones' geography is a bit amiss!If it is of such dire consequences, surely a Brittany site on its own would be far more of an intelligent consequence than what we have at the present moment.Apologies for being so outspoken or maybe on my own ! but it does seem to be rather untoward to lump such an expanse of area together and rather senseless with no common thread within the areas. Phoenix Posted April 19, 2004 Share Posted April 19, 2004 Hi Brittany folk,I always thought Brittany was western France, and pointed out in other postings, you cant go any further west in mainland France than Brittany , after all you don`t call Corwall and Devon the south west country , perhaps we need the N/W , West , Mid-West and South West !!!! more sensible to have a separate Brittany area I think.Perhaps this is why a lot of Bretons feel they are a separate entity to the rest of France?
