Porth Posted March 12, 2005 Share Posted March 12, 2005 I find that strange in that our carpenter has just recently fitted two velux for us and when we converted our loft.Equally we have a first class roofer. Coco Posted March 13, 2005 Share Posted March 13, 2005 I think the reason your builder suggested a roofer is that as soon as you make a hole in your roof you are not covered by your insurance for leaks etc unless it has been done by a certified roofer. We needed an extractor fan outlet put in ours and the plumber refused to do it for this very reason.
