Harley Posted September 22, 2005 Author Share Posted September 22, 2005 All varnish needs removing from table and chairs but it won't need to be sandblasted, just the original coat as far as I can make out. I would like them waxed if that is a better finish. Some of the 8 chairs need repairing and the seats need replacing( I have the foam and fabric already). The two armchairs need the varnish removing from the wood frame and if possible, new covers. Chrisc Posted September 30, 2005 Share Posted September 30, 2005 Try using 3V3 decapent on the wood.Its a gel that you paint on.It cleaned up an old armoire I boughtbe careful not to burn yourself.I went to pee in the corner of the gardenMy hands were not washed enough.It hurts-!It took some skin off my private thingI cried all night.bon chance.
