Goodness...thank you everyone for your replies.... Just to let you know...everything was fine...once I was on the boat my Bank Manager sent me an email, he asked for more information about the car, which I was able to give. I had to pay the Garage for the road tax as I was driving in UK for another week. Once I have put the car on French plates.....I will SORN it.

I am having a bit of a panic.....I bought a car yesterday that is in England and leave my house at 6am for the ferry....I emailed my Bank(my car is insured with them) yesterday with all the details of the new car, make model, registration number, engine size, value and time I will be collecting the car.....ending the message saying i would call in today to make sure everything is ok.....It was only as I was leaving I realised it is 14th July and the Banks are closed....I can I presume, always dangerous, that everything will be ok.......I can't remember what happened the last time I changed cars.....any suggestions????

Found it, and for your information 2047 is PINK!! I hope your return was on the right form.....

Sorry if this has already been asked....I completed on line last year, no problem.....this year I can't find the pink form to declare my UK State pension....any ideas.....I have spent hours trying to find it.....

Help! ..To my horror, since Saturday I have received over 1000 emails and they are still pouring in. From Mail Delivery System Subject Undelivered mail returned to sender. Obviously I have click 'something' even though I am so careful about opening emails that I do not know the recipient...... Does anyone have ANY IDEA what I can do to stop them? I do have two email address, my main one is Gmail, these are coming in on Orange. Any suggestions would be great.........

My internet phone with Orange dropped out this afternoon. I went to the Orange site 192.168.1.1 as I have done in the past, but it will not accept my admin password. Have Orange changed it....any suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks Tenniswitch It is my computer phone which I make all my outgoing calls on. I used to be able to select the previous months and see all calls I had made. I have not checked for awhile, until I noticed January bills states I made 17 international mobile calls...which I know is not correct.

I am sure I have been able to check in the past, old phone bills online with Orange. I can see the actual bill, but I want to find a phone number, but it only lets me see phone numbers made this month. Any suggestions? Thanks

The Public Sector Net Borrowing for the month of August is released today and is expected to increase from €8 billion up to €18 billion. Euro The Euro pushed higher against the US Dollar up to a high of $1.4759. The Trade Balance in the European Monetary Union increased much more than expected up to €6.8 billion. Today the Eurozone Current Account is set to be released and is widely expected to show a decrease in the deficit from €5.3 billion to €4.3 billion.

I have bought a new laptop two weeks ago....all fine, I was able to put in network key to log on to Livebox. Then, this afternoon, for some reason it is asking me to put in network key again. Can someone remind me, is it case/space sensitive, I have put many different ways but it doesnt want to know...now I am receiving a message to plug a cable into the network adapter 'LAN' no idea what that means.....any help gratefully received...... I logged off the usual way the last time I used it.

Sorry, I am confusing myself.....it is the Ethernet cable, not sure why I wrote USB.....

yes, I have done all that, the livebox is working fine, I just want to activate the 'yellow' usb so people staying with me can plug their laptop into the livebox. From the set up message it is written in red, saying disactivated (in french) I want to know how to change this setting.

I have the Livebox mini installed, phoneline working....everything fine....or so i thought...because of the thickness of the internal walls in my house, wifi does not work well, with my origianl Livebox I had an ethernet cable connected which worked fine. But, (I am sure you are ahead of me,) when the ethernet cable is plugged into the new box, although there are two lights flashing, it does not connect. I have plugged the cable into the Yellow socket and can see two lights flashing. I have gone into Admin and (see below) and can see the Ethernet is Deconnecte - Is there ANYONE out there able to explain what I have to do to make it Active...... Thanks.................. My original Livebox was bought, not rented, that is why I was able to change it so easily. I have changed the phone filters - Since my first posting and thru the suggestions made by Sue, I finally found (after hours of going round in circles..) the page about the phones and read, it takes 48 hours for phone line to connect. That will be at 4pm this afternoon, I am sure you will all here the cheer when it happens. I do still have my FT line...... It is all learning..... Thanks again for you help and comments.

And I thought I was doing so well.............my Livebox, 'died' yesterday morning..... how I wish i had bought a Surge Protector... So, off  I went to local Orange shop for a new Livebox. The very unhelpful assistant, gave it to me and in reply to my question, 'what do I do' replied, 'just plug it in'... This afternoon, I am very proud to announce that I successfull re-installed everything...it was not a case of 'just plug it in' ..... I was/am so pleased I was able to do this without asking help from friends or having to ask here.....but then...I noticed the telephone light is not lit up so i cant use the computer phone, try as I can, I cant seem to see how to re-activate it.... so, dispite my happiness of being back on line I cant use the phone....does anyone out there know what I need to do.... Thanks.
