St_Jacques Posted June 13, 2004 Share Posted June 13, 2004 Hi - have just completed on our new home near La Clayette.Can any of you in the area advise places to get good yet cheap furniture and white goods?My wife is constantly scanning Ebay and insists we buy from there and transport it down - I however insist that we should buy it in France. There is an Expert store on teh outskirts of La Clayette that is similar to Comet in the UK and sells that sort of electric appliance. There are also retailers in La Clayette itself - both deliver (usually free with 10 km) and their prices are the same or better than the bigger store - we had to replace our old washing machine some months ago and teh best deal was from teh local shop in Chauffailles.
