Leschenauds
Can anyone recommend a professional joiner. Our experience of english speaking joiners are that they are usually unqualified and not registered in France. Most seem to be secondhand car salesmen. Redredwine
Can I suggest a priest, they are trained to listen to your problems and can even say "what god has joined together let no man put asunder"so you will have a joiner, a professional, and a sympathetic ear when things go wrong.PS dont think they sell cars
AnnM
M Claude Robert of Saint Avit Senieur in the Dordogne. He also has brocante/antique shops in Beaumont and Lalinde. He travels up to Paris regularly for work and is happy to stop on the way.
Hilltopshot
Try good old Auntie's website:http://www.bbc.co.uk/cgi-perl/weather/search/search.pl?search_query=francewhich is what I use. Odd combination of places - major towns and cities (which you'd expect) but places like Treguier in Brittany which I wouldn't .Gail
