My husband and I have retired and have lived here permanently for the last two years now. Whilst there does not appear to be many Brits local to us there are some just a little south of us.It appears to be a very pleasant area with good countryside walks, etc, plus plenty of wildlife - animal variety! We live in an isolated spot which is very quiet - it makes a wonderful change to city living. We are trying to live in an ancient water mill and have set up a carp fishery here.
