I believe the link no longer works but I am sure that if you go to the website and do a search you will find the document. For those that prefer it I have put the French original first followed by a translation in to English. Conditions tenant aux locaux 1. Lieu d’implantation En principe, les chambres d’hôtes doivent être situées dans une zone rurale à vocation touristique. Exceptionnellement, elles peuvent se situer en zone urbaine à condition d’être implantées à proximité ou dans le périmètre de quartiers touristiques ou historiques. Debra[/quote]Hi DebraYes you are reading the text correctly. However, as laws have yet to be drawn up, you couldn't be prosecuted for doing so. I think the idea is to try to prevent people in flats and apartments from running B&B. Personally, having been to such places in Hungary, I see nothing wrong with them provided you know what you're getting, but I guess that it's not the image that those developing the concept here want to promote.
