condorman Posted August 18, 2005 Share Posted August 18, 2005 Hi All, Met my French neighbour tother day and she has been learning English, she speaks very well, but there was something funny that happened, she said " I have been to england, I like your English puebes", she could now tell by the colour of my face and the tears running down my face there was something wrong, so she says" puebes, you have pubes in England yes" I said we do have puebes, but i think you mean Pubs, we have Pubs in England,,, Its great, the French seem to laugh a lot when i speak which is great, im probably doing the same.....condor Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
