And I'm an editor and writer. Moved up here to work for Thorsons in Wellingborough in the early '80s, but have now been freelance for many years so can divide my time between here and France. I really do miss my family in the UK but I am always glad to get back to France for the peace and quiet and the lovely summers and bitter cold winters all snug and warm by the log burner. It is strange how we all have mixed feelings about being in France but I know that it is for me at this time but I am probably many years older than you are. We set off totally homeless in our Caravan and our kids thought we had lost it totally and had gone completely Ga Ga but they now envy our way of life.
