Loop Current grinds to a halt.

The Jet Stream is the culprit of much short term weather; followed closely by Piers Corbyn and his group; one of the reasons I have declined invites to UK this year during the festive period. 8°C maximum today whilst returning from the show at Puy du Fou; plus a quick stop at bressuire to see the Model Circus and the Creche Animée.

I think I'd rather stick with the accuracy of the Met. Office than pay £15.00 per 30 day forecast from Piers Corbyn.

Very interesting to note his use of letters - ARCS, FRAS, FRMetS, after his name.

Yet his name fails to appear on the Fellows list of the RMS!

Make 1000 predictions, one of them is bound to be right...

I am always bemused by your acceptance of the veracity and efficiency of anything puked out by the fluffy establishment.[Www]

As an example at the moment I am principally interested in VERY LOCAL forecasts for weather in England; in particular a small area on the border of Hereford and Worcester. If I pull up the BBC weather, based on the Meteorological Service, there is basic map with Redditch,Kidderminster,Malvern,Worcester,Evesham,Ross-on-Wye,Hereford and Leominster.

The weather stations used are Coleshill, Pershore, Credenhill and Filton.

Kidderminster is based on Coleshill; Redditch though in fact closer to Coleshill in fact uses Pershore[:D];Leominster,Malvern,Worcester and Evesham use Pershore situated in the Vale of Evesham;Ross-on-Wye uses Filton near Bristol and Hereford uses Credenhill.

As a result a trip northwards up the A 49 from Ross via Hereford to Leominster will have Filton-Credenhill-Pershore weather.[:D]

It will perhaps be of no surprise that PPP in his ineffable septuagenerian wisdom will in due consideration of the proximity of Credenhill to Hereford and the apparent competence of the SAS to observe their Stevenson Screen, give exclusive confidence to the Credenhill information.

Not at all! Facts are facts, and that's a fact!

Any mention of Credenhill and the SAS strikes a shiver down my backbone, and I hope the weather improves before your next mission.[:D]
