Swallows and swifts breeding a second time?

Can any knowing soul enlighten me as to whether swallows and or swifts have second broods?

The nest on my front wall is currently reoccupied but I cant be sure whether it is the last brood which flew a couple of weeks ago simply sheltering from a not too hot day or whether it is Mama having another go.

Two broods is normal according to

I can confirm this by personal observation of swallows nesting at our property. There has been the odd case of three broods but that is rare

Thanks, guys. I shall continue to talk to them nicely so that they will let me watch them from as close as possible.
