Dick Smith
Does Safari work in 9.2? If so, I get the boxes (Safari OSX) (but not the messages when you roll over them).Has anybody tried Firefox? I've got it on a CD but I don't want to screw things up by installing it. You obviously get the smileys, which I don't.
Gwenhwyfar
Pretty sure that Safari doesn't work with 9.2, I've not tried it 'cos I know it's still temperamental! I get the boxes but same no messages when rolling over them ....and the smilies .... I haven't got them I just type them in manually, e.g. : followed by ) comes out as I've only got 3 so far though
Russethouse
Why do your :-) come out as smilies while mine do not :-(Which box have you got ticked in your options ?
Gwenhwyfar
Try leaving out the "-" part of the typed in smiley? :-) It seems to only work without the 'noses' Going to the pub now to celebrate confirming our move to France in just under 3wks time
