I'm going to be using the train to/from Paris in the near future and was told by a french guy that you can get a good discount if you book ahead. Has anyone else had any experience of this, i.e. how long do you need to book in advance, does it always have to be areturn to/from the same station at each end etc.Any help would be much appreciated. He used Eurostar of course, but booked at least two weeks in advance, received a good discount and also collected 'frequent user' points. Good luck.
