Ivan Trotman
I am wondering whether anyone has any experience of taking electrical goods by air. Specifically, I have just bought a digibox and not sure whether this will be allowed in the hold as baggage (do they XRay all the suitcases?) or can I take it as hand luggage. Looked at the various aviation web-sites but they are a little vague about personal electrical devices....don't want to be arrested as a terrorist! GRT17
Rules vary from airline to airline, I think you should telephone the airline concerned and get the official word from them.all the best and bon voyageGill

Iancharlton
I've taken my digibox as hand luggage several times with Ryanair & FlyBE without any problems. I wouldn't risk it as hold luggage. The cases get bounced around too much by the baggage handlers.
