Hoddy
Alcazar was due to arrive at a campsite near here on Wednesday. Yesterday, around five 'o clock we had a light shower. In the night we had a heavy thunderstorm and this morning we've had 9 mm in a quarter of an hour.I don't know that he's arrived, but I think he must have done !Hoddy
Cat
Ah, that would explain it then Hoddy!RFM (le meilleur de la musique, ooops no, that's a different thread) Quercy Rouergue were broadcasting severe storm warnings yesterday afternoon. Someone must have warned them of Alcazar's arrival. The rains came, the suffocating heat has vanished, thanks Alcazar
Catalpa
I am reasonably certain that Alcazar has moved on from Normandy (southern Manche area) where I think s/he was located for about 4 days earlier this week. If it wasn't Alcazar, it was a particularly able pupil. This leads me on to the thought: where does a rainmaker register? Chambre des Meteos? Are the cotisations high? Is fluent French essential? Would a fonctionnaire risk upsetting a rainmaker if the result was a permanent black and rainy cloud tethered over their house?? So many questions... so much rain
