Kimi Posted June 11, 2007 Share Posted June 11, 2007 Is it enough for students to live on 900 Euros a month in Lyon?Rent would be 371 Euros a month that already includes electricities and gas (and water too I think, if it's charged).So the rest would go for food and leisure. The good thing is I can just walk to univ. cause it's very near.And there is another allowance for books and I can borrow a laptop so there won't be big expenses like that.Thansk for the input in advance! My daughter has just finished 3 years study and lived in a private flat on just over 50% of that amount per month and she ran and insured her car as well during that time. Sghe did, however work saturdays and holidays as a cashier in the supermarket to implement this but the hours were restricted due to be a student and the charges kicked in too.
